Continuously learn new skills. Unlike a computer, your brain can adapt and adjust. Thus if you religiously learn new skills and do novel activities, it can learn how to learn… making the process of memorizing far easier! Unfortunately, of course, people stop learning as soon as they leave college… and the older generation tend to view learning as wasting time because they felt they’ve reached the end of the road.
But that sort of thinking is a self-fulfilling prophecy. As you stop learning, you lose your ability to learn because synapses for that skill break down.

The holidays are long gone. New Year’s resolutions are long forgotten. And we are once again lamenting that those “extra ten pounds” just won’t go away. Personal trainers and nutritionists across the country say they get more questions on how to lose the final 10 pounds than on any other fitness-related subject. It’s so common - you’re exhausted as usual and your stomach is a bit upset but that’s no surprise with the high pressure schedule you’ve been keeping up all day. You’re also feeling a little bloated so maybe your period’s going to start early and naturally, you have to empty your bladder again.
