"I can't do this" and "I'm not good at this" are common statements of confusion and frustration from kids and adults, while learning something new. Learning naturally involves failure and its emotional responses. Traditional education does not look at these thoughts. It has always focused on information and facts, and has not modeled the real learning process. When teachers give material out to students, it is usually in a perfect format that doesn't set the space aside which we need to make mistakes and then get over these mistakes, and begin again with hope and enthusiasm. The aim of this project is to build up the perfect learning companion, i.e. a community, which assists your learning. A companion is not a tutor, who knows all the answers, but is there to help you out in the learning process, and in so doing, help you to learn how to learn better. That way, you can start to live with mistakes more positively, and continue your learning with more pleasure and success.
And this bigger world we will soon live in will be “user-generated” as well.
